Rental Minimum
Standards
Check
Independent inspections against Victoria's Residential Tenancies Act 2018 minimum standards. Ensuring rental properties meet the legal requirements for landlords, property managers, and tenants.
Victoria's New
Rental Laws
New rental laws came into effect on 29 March 2021 across Victoria. Under these laws, rental providers (landlords) must ensure their property meets certain minimum standards before a tenancy begins.
The minimum standards cover basic but important requirements relating to amenity, safety, and privacy. These standards apply to all rental agreements entered into on or after 29 March 2021.
Forma Inspect conducts independent Rental Minimum Standards Checks — providing landlords, property managers, and agents with a clear, documented assessment of compliance across all 14 categories.
